I’m heading to OKC to help protect our
Oklahoma Values
and keep the feds out of our state!

To accomplish this, I have set a course to support legislation in FOUR KEY AREAS.

  1. Support legislation that PROTECTS OUR CONSTITUTION.
    1. It’s unfortunate that we have to do this, but freedom is something that we must continue to fight for.
      • The First Amendment – freedom of speak our mind, freedom to peaceably assemble together to talk about what we believe in, and the right to be free from any state run religion.
      • The Second Amendment – the right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home.
      • The Fourth Amendment – protects us from unlawful search and seizures.
      • And the 10th Amendment – that keeps the Federal Government OUT OF OUR STATE!!
  2. Support legislation that holds our ELECTION SYSTEM ACCOUNTABLE.
      • Every vote can count, but every vote needs to be real!
  3. I was a public school teacher for 15 years so education is very close to my heart.  I will support legislation that HOLDS OUR STATE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT ACCOUNTABLE to be
      • Trustworthy – for those of us that have children and grandchildren going to school everyday and what they are learning.
      • Transparent – for those of us that are paying taxes and want to know where the money is going?
  4. And finally, I have been a business owner for the past 10 years.  I own a business consulting company so I know that maintaining strong small, local businesses is very important to a successful local economy.  I will support legislation that helps
      • GROW OUR ECONOMY,
      • MAKES IT SIMPLER TO BE A BUSINESS OWNER AND
      • KEEPS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OUR TO OUR BUSINESS!

These are the key issues that I am passionate about and I have discovered that most others in our district are passionate about as well.  This is why I strongly believe that I will be the best representative for HD66.

For 30 years I have been helping people move from where they are to where they want to be.  It’s in that space that I find most fulfillment and where I see the hand of God in my life.  When I am engaged in this type of activity, God shows up and good things happen.  It happened while I was an inner city public school teacher and coach, helping students and athletes break out of the inner city trap of poverty and generational cycles.  It happened while I was at Shepherd’s Fold Ranch helping college students transform their inaccurate ideas of who God is (and who he isn’t) so they could experience more confidence in their relationship with Him.  And it happens now, every day as I work with small business owners across the country helping them navigate the struggles of growing a business that can give them financial freedom and time freedom.

For the last couple years, like many others, I have been dissatisfied with what I see happening in our country and in our state.  I don’t like where we are right now.  I’ve had a ton of conversations with people who feel the same way.  “We don’t like where we are and we don’t like what we see coming in the future.”  One day in the fall of 2020, I had a friend ask me, “Clay, how do we get to where we want to be?”  This question inspired me to run for HD66 – “Helping people get from where they are to where they want to be”.
